GHH Ministries Hacienda Christian Life Campus
About GHH Ministries Hacienda Christian Life Campus
The Hacienda Christian Life Campus is part of GHH Ministries and has been helping men find sobriety since 1995. This Christian faith-based residential addiction treatment program is located in Perris, California. Their goal goes beyond helping men find sobriety to making them true members of their communities following a detox program.
The social rehabilitation aspect of the program extends to those who are justice involved. The program is recognized for alternative sentencing, allowing those with criminal histories to receive treatment and robust community reintegration support. They accept people with and without criminal backgrounds.
Something worth noting is that this location never charges fees for program participation: no self pay, no insurance, nothing. Just a desire to change.
Bringing Your Best Foot Forward
Whether you’re coming from incarceration or not, the fact that you’re seeking addiction care means that something is missing from your life that can bring you closer to where you want to be. There are many things it could be—meaningful relationships with those in your community or gainful employment, for example—and this location tries to fill those gaps. One area is education.
During the first phase of treatment, you can get assistance pursuing a GED. Furthering your education has many benefits in your life that can ultimately increase your overall stability, such as opening the door to more employment opportunities.
A Two Phase Approach
The first phase of treatment follows a structured recovery curriculum combining faith with physical and mental well being. The second phase, which is optional, gives you an additional year to prepare for the transition back to your community, supporting your search for housing and work in addition to ongoing counseling. In both phases, staff ensure you remain compliant with any legal requirements such as probation that apply to your situation.
Space to Recover
Hacienda has 10 acres and a ranch-style residence to offer open spaces conducive to healing. It combines the communal living you’d expect from residential treatment with a high degree of privacy. The home-like setting creates a comfortable atmosphere, promoting introspection and bonding with fellow clients, creating a strong sense of community.
