About Neighborhood House of North Richmond West County Human Development Center
The Neighborhood House of North Richmond in California is a nonprofit community based agency that offers services for community members. Founded by a Quaker group in 1954 as a refuge and voice for African American low income families, Southeast Asians and Mexican immigrants, the center is now a multicultural hub for families of all ethnicities and races.
Legally Required DUI Programs
The center offers DUI programs in English and Spanish for those who have been ordered to attend programs by the courts or the DMV. They offer first and multiple offender programs including 12 hours, 18 months and programs for Wet and Reckless offenses.
Although the center does not offer a detox program, they can refer you to a local facility that offers detoxification treatment. In addition to detox treatment, you may want to visit their multicultural senior and family center.
Multicultural Senior and Family Center
The center provides services for seniors and low income families. This includes free lunches, free groceries and nutrition education. We know that our community and family members with addiction issues need to discover sober activities to thwart urges. The center offers arts and crafts and exercise classes.
