Clients receive around 30 hours per week of clinical and experiential therapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, EMDR, art, music, yoga and equine assisted therapy. The program also includes 20 hours per week of academic and vocational mentoring, life skills training, family therapy and alumni support to build independence and lasting recovery.
The small residential home accommodates 5 to 6 clients at a time for personalized attention and is accessible via local public transportation and nearby airports. The program accepts most major private insurance, including Aetna, Anthem, Blue Shield, Cigna, Kaiser, Optum and United Healthcare, with coverage potentially reaching 100% of costs. Cash or self payment options are available but Medi Cal is not accepted.
