About Friendly House
Friendly House is a community nonprofit organization that empowers women of all gender experiences to overcome substance use and mental health disorders. Their programs blend clinical therapies and community support. They focus on supporting their clients to heal trauma patterns so they can achieve a recovery lifestyle moving forward.
Friendly House is located in a metropolitan part of downtown Los Angeles, California, in the Wilshire Center. They have a retro look to their house that includes a piano and outdoor ceiling fans.
Specialized Women’s Detox in LA
At Friendly House, clients can access a detox program designed specifically for adults who identify as women. Women’s bodies respond differently to detox. The Friendly House medical team knows how to best meet the needs of female patients, including trans women.
Clients get a comprehensive assessment including medical evaluation to determine the right detox protocol for you. You’ll be carefully supervised and monitored the whole time by an experienced medical team.
