About Project Ninety

Project Ninety is a nonprofit organization in San Mateo, California that is a division of Caminar. They offer a wide range of mental health and substance abuse services to support your mental well being. In 2024, the overall organization had served over 41,000 individuals across the Bay Area and Northern California, and over 2,000 adults had moved from substance use disorder into recovery.

Traditional and Intensive Outpatient Treatment for Substance Use

While the programs and services vary across the area, they offer several critical support and treatment services in San Mateo. This includes intensive outpatient substance use services and a medication clinic to support medication assisted treatment for withdrawal management.

Traditional outpatient services are also available for adults 18 years and older. They use evidence based therapies and interactive strategies to address your needs.

Multidisciplinary Team Approach

I like that they also offer psychiatric services to help manage mental health symptoms. They work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to prescribe medications and manage the side effects and symptoms. At a separate location but still in San Mateo, they offer a recovery residence that provides men with a healthy and drug free living environment.

When you qualify, you may also receive case management services alongside supported housing placement. This helps determine the most appropriate level of housing needed and may also include psychiatric and medication management services.
