About SRTP
You’ll find Santa Rosa Treatment Program (SRTP) in San Fransico’s North Bay region of California. They welcome adults battling opioid use disorder. You can pay for treatment with most major insurance plans, including Medicare, Medi Cal and Kaiser.
Surrounded by Sonoma County’s redwood forests, you’ll have multiple opportunities for outdoor exploration and healing. The facility is near the Russian River and Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve. These healing spaces are ideal for calming nature walks and reflection.
Medication Assisted Treatment With Methadone
They prescribe daily methadone, an FDA approved medication to treat opioid dependence. With MAT, you won’t have to worry about cravings and withdrawal symptoms that can disrupt recovery.Â
You’ll participate in ongoing therapy to get to the root of addiction. This track is primarily for those with a history of opioid use disorder searching for a longer term maintenance approach.
180 Day Detoxification Track
What strikes me most is their tailored detox program. If you desire a shorter term program and don’t want to remain on medications for extended periods, this track can be beneficial.Â
They offer medical evaluations and assessments to determine the best approach for you. You’ll work with a counselor to find the appropriate dose and participate in individual counseling. Their team helps you begin to taper off of methadone by your 180th day in the program.
I was impressed that most former clients enjoyed their services. Many described a nonjudgmental environment with skilled, supportive staff. Former clients enjoyed their personalized approach and group sessions.
