Tracey Biletnikoff Foundation
About Tracey Biletnikoff Foundation
Founded in 1999, the Biletnikoff Foundation is a nonprofit that has funded many organizations and youth groups, particularly those focused on supporting low-to-moderate income demographics and those at a high risk of substance abuse as well as gender and domestic violence. It has founded four key locations in Northern California, with the Tracey Biletnikoff Foundation, or Tracey’s Place of Hope, based in suburban Dublin, California.
Specialized Mental Health Care & Addiction Treatment for Young Women
Of the four Biletnikoff Foundation locations in Northern California, this one was founded in memory of Tracey Biletnikoff. Its focus is on providing treatment and support to teen girls aged 14-18, as well as young women from lower income backgrounds. Support for cases of domestic abuse and sexual violence cases is integrated into a rounded approach that sees clients for the complex and multi-layered individuals they are, rather than a sum of their diagnoses and experiences.
The center partners with Koinonia Family Services to make such care possible, while also hosting annual fundraising events to support its important work. Just some of its initiatives have included a crab fest, and a celebrity golf tournament, all in aid of its support programs.
Comprehensive Drug Rehab & Detox Services
Inpatient and outpatient programming are available, including detox services to support individuals in the withdrawal process from alcohol and other drugs. Professional supervision is particularly important during this time for client safety and to make the process comfortable. Getting it right ensures clients are set up for success throughout the rest of their recovery journey with a lower risk of relapse in the long-term.
In residential care, clients can expect individual bedrooms and bathrooms, allowing them more privacy and personal space while in treatment.
