Safe and Controlled Medication Assisted Treatment
The facility uses medication assisted treatment to address the physical symptoms of withdrawal and the cravings clients experience while recovering from opioid addiction. A majority of residents at Whiteside Manor will take medications on the first day of their stay at the facility. The options that will be available to you are Suboxone and Subutex.
Along with medications to alleviate your symptoms, you’ll begin participating in behavioral therapies and start learning life skills. Behavioral therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy will help you with adjusting negative thoughts influencing your addiction and developing relapse prevention strategies.
Building a Healthy Lifestyle
Clients will also start engaging in healthy recreation as a part of practicing stress management. The facility has exercise equipment and other outside resources. The staff also has employed a chef to cook healthy meals that will support your healing.
Boot Camp Program For Discipline
In addition to medication assisted treatment and recreational therapy, the facility offers a unique voluntary boot camp program to help clients develop discipline and structure. You’ll work with a certified fitness trainer four days a week and as they guide you through an exercise regimen.
