About Workit Health

Workit Health is a virtual addiction treatment center based in Lafayette, California providing online medication assisted treatment and counseling for substance use disorders.

Serving residents across California and ten other states, Workit Health delivers outpatient care through a mobile app and video visits eliminating the need for in person appointments.

Founded in 2014 by two women in long term recovery, the platform combines evidence based therapies, FDA approved medications and peer support to expand access to recovery care.

Treatment begins with a virtual assessment and orientation, where licensed clinicians evaluate each client’s needs and develop a personalized care plan.

Clients receive FDA approved medications such as buprenorphine, Suboxone and naltrexone, e prescribed to local pharmacies for opioid and alcohol use disorders.

Treatment incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness based approaches and harm reduction principles with dual diagnosis support for cooccurring conditions like anxiety, depression and insomnia.
