Chico Rescue Mission is a faith based addiction treatment center in Chico, California that offers a 12 month residential program exclusively for men struggling with substance use. They do not offer detox but can refer the men to a detox treatment facility.
Housing and treatment are provided at no cost to men willing to participate in the program. Vocational training enterprises, including the auto detail shop, landscaping services, and hauling work, help fund the mission’s operations.
What kinds of addiction treatment does Chico Rescue Mission offer?
Chico Rescue Mission provides a 12 month residential addiction treatment program built on a Christ centered 12 step foundation. The daily schedule includes group sessions, personal study, classes on boundaries and life skills, bible study, and vocational training in auto detailing, landscaping, and property hauling.
After care planning, case management, and transitional housing support men as they reintegrate into the community.
Who can get help here?
The program serves men with substance use disorder who are ready to commit to faith based recovery. Chico Rescue Mission also works with men involved in the criminal justice system including those referred by courts, probation, or parole.
Where is the center located?
The mission is located in a former motel property. The facility includes on-site dining, shared residential rooms, a gym, and vocational training spaces.
