About Kaiser Permanente – Chemical Dependency Recovery Program (CDRP)

Kaiser Permanente’s Addiction Medicine Recovery Services (AMRS) offers alcohol and drug rehab in Cupertino, California. The center provides ambulatory detox, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), general outpatient (OP), and aftercare services for young adults and adults. Specialized programs are available for adolescents.

At Kaiser Permanente, clients have a structured environment to begin their rehabilitation. In the ambulatory medical detox program, licensed clinicians prescribe FDA-approved Suboxone, Vivitrol, and methadone to relieve cravings and withdrawal pains. Clients are supervised throughout the program by a case management team and begin counseling sessions to prevent relapse.

In addition to detox, clients participate in health education classes, parenting classes, harm reduction programs, and life skills development. The program deescalates from 6 days a week to 1 day per week by the end of 18 months. Clients may be referred to outside facilities for specialized substance abuse programs.

Kaiser Permanente offers self-pay and financing options. The center accepts Medicare and Medi-Cal and may be in-network with Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan, Optum, and Wellpoint. Please check your insurance provider for coverage and out-of-network benefits.
