Substance Use Counseling

In addition to medications, you also attend individual and group counseling. The center knows that substance use disorder is more effectively treated when medication is accompanied by counseling. They believe education about substance use disorders provides clients with a better understanding of a disease they are living with.

Counseling sessions will help you adjust your thinking patterns concerning substance use. You learn how to cope with stressful and difficult situations without involving substances.

Treatment for Pregnant Mothers

Clients find a safe environment to discuss past events and future concerns. Through counseling and therapy, clients learn how to integrate into the community and with their family while maintaining sobriety.

If you are pregnant, the center will coordinate with your OB/GYN to provide detox that is safe for you and your baby. You will be referred to community resources that can help you with financial, housing, food, or other needs.
