Elevations Substance Abuse Facility

            About Elevations Substance Abuse Facility
Elevations Substance Use Facility in Northridge, California, offers detox, residential treatment, dual diagnosis treatment, and aftercare. Residential treatment offers chef prepared meals, meditation, activities daily, and field trips to attractions.
A warm and welcoming living room with a sectional, television, and fireplace offers an area to socialize and relax. Outdoors is a swimming pool and a grill for outdoor activities.
Residential detoxification at the facility includes continuous supervision for 5-10 days. This ensures you do not experience life threatening withdrawals.
Medications will be provided for your withdrawal symptoms if needed. Suboxone, Subutex, Vivitrol, anti depressants, and anti anxiety medications are commonly prescribed
Residential Treatment for Substance Use
After detox you will transition to residential treatment at their small luxury private center. We tend to be more comfortable with a smaller group of people we are unfamiliar with. With only six patients at a time, you will receive individualized treatment and will not be overwhelmed by a large group of unfamiliar clients.
The facility uses the matrix model and several types of therapy including behavioral therapy, contingency management, rational emotive behavior, motivational interviewing, and person-centered therapy. The 12 Steps is used, and family therapy is offered to your loved ones.
Dual Diagnosis Program
If you are using substances to self medicate, you likely have a dual diagnosis. The root problem must be treated if addiction treatment is to be successful. A specialized dual diagnosis program offers a customized treatment plan for each patient.
Substance Use Aftercare
As a chronic disease, substance use disorder requires a lifetime of treatment. Many personal factors can cause a client to relapse after treatment including stress, old friends, and old hangouts that discouraged sobriety. Instead, try to connect to your community in healthy ways, with the local malls and restaurants. The hills surrounding Topanga Canyon aren’t far away, either, if you prefer hiking.
Their aftercare program can refer you to a sober living home or outpatient treatment. The program offers activities such as barbecues, get togethers, group therapy meetings, and other events.
