Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital COPE and Acute Detox Program

Their MAT services help clients safely detox from alcohol, opioids, or other drugs. A multi-disciplinary team of providers can monitor clients throughout the detox process, administering FDA-approved medications as necessary to reduce physical pain, minimize cravings, and lower relapse risk. Clients may stay in short-term inpatient treatment after detox to address acute psychiatric needs.

They also offer outpatient treatment for clients transitioning out of inpatient services or requiring a lower level of care. Treatment plans are developed around each client’s specific needs, with available services that include individual, group, and family counseling, addiction education, life skills training, medication management, and spiritual care. In addition to holistic offerings such as yoga, meditation, and art therapy, clients can also participate in evidence-based therapies including dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). Providers can also connect clients to outside providers and other departments within the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for ongoing recovery support.

The Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital COPE and Acute Detox Program is in-network with most commercial insurance providers, including Aetna, CenCal, BlueCross/BlueShield, United Healthcare, and others.
