Now closed, The Holistic Sanctuary was a luxury addiction treatment center in Los Angeles, California. They specialized in providing care for executives, veterans and clients with concurrent mental health issues. They’ve since moved their operations to Baja California and Tulum Beach in Mexico.
Various insurance plans were accepted, while flexible payment options are available to accommodate individuals from a range of different financial backgrounds.
Harnessing Plant Medicine for a Holistic Recovery
This facility was renowned for its unique treatment methods. They didn’t do group meetings or talk therapy and rejected what they believed to be “outdated” treatment models. They advocated a personalized holistic one-to-one approach that ultimately culminated in 150+ hours of individual sessions per month. Programming featured daily Reiki, yoga, massage, colonic enemas, and more. Each guest received raw, plant-based, organic, non-GMO food to promote nutrient absorption and encourage healing.
They also believed in detoxing the GI tract to help clients repair and reset serotonin receptors. They called their approach The Pouyan Method, a trade secret unique to The Holistic Sanctuary. It featured seven hours on an IV drip, featuring what they referred to as their patented ‘Brain Repair formula’. This was said to help treat conditions like addiction, depression, and more.
They also blended plant medicine into their methods like Ayahuasca and Ibogaine as part of the detox process.
