About Northeast Behavioral Health
At the Tewksbury Treatment Center, we understand substance use and addiction as a problem that has genetic, biological, psychological and social origins. We work with men and women, age 18 and older, from across the greater Merrimack Valley and southern New Hampshire.
Detoxification is designed to treat the acute physiological effects of stopping drug use, including alcohol. In some cases, detoxification is medically necessary. Untreated, withdrawal may be dangerous or even fatal.
