About Joan and Sanford I Weill Med College Midtown Ctr for Trt and Research OP

As faculty of Weill Cornell Medical College, a world-renowned academic and research institution, staff take part in and are exposed to cutting edge research exploring the mechanisms and treatment of substance abuse. Clinical team members reflect a variety of rich and diverse academic backgrounds from the fields of medicine, psychology, social work and counseling with special interest and certification in the field of alcoholism and substance abuse.

Every effort will be made to schedule an initial consultation within 24 hours of your referral date. Intake and Treatment Evaluation includes one intake evaluation session, a medical evaluation by a member of Midtown Center’s medical staff, and a urine toxicology screen. If appropriate, a psychiatric evaluation is also completed.

All patients are expected to participate in Intake and Treatment Evaluation, which culminates in an individualized treatment plan and will include any combination of the following services:
