The Henry Ford Maplegrove Center is a specialized addiction treatment center in West Bloomfield, Michigan. It’s part of the Henry Ford Health network and next to the West Bloomfield Hospital but this facility is specifically for drug and alcohol addiction.

For detox care, they actually have both inpatient and outpatient programs for detox which isn’t particularly common. If you’re an adult your care team can help you determine if inpatient or outpatient detox is the better fit for you. They treat teenagers here too but only with outpatient detox.

In their inpatient detox treatment, you’ll stay overnight at the treatment center throughout your detox and have around-the-clock medical care. A team of experienced medical professionals will ensure you’re safe and as comfortable as possible. During this time you’ll also have group therapy and individual therapy to begin your recovery journey.

With their outpatient detox, they provide medications for you that will manage your withdrawal symptoms at home. You’ll come to the treatment center daily for your medication and for monitoring to make sure your detox is going as expected.

There are some caveats and qualifications for outpatient detox though. It can be a good option only if you have a stable and supportive sober environment at home where you can detox safely. You have to be able to reliably stay away from drugs and alcohol during your detox too and you must be able to travel to the treatment center daily as well as participate in addiction counseling.

Clients have a lot of positive feedback about this detox center. While there are some who haven’t been happy about their experience most clients say that the care here is excellent and that the staff are kind and knowledgeable.
